{Jenn Robirds Events} Sarah + Roberto
Miles and miles of towering trees nestled just north of Lake Tahoe sure does set the stage for an April wedding. Sarah and Roberto couldn't have chosen a more romantic venue; the Chalet View Lodge in Portola, CA provided a beautiful backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. A clear-top tent made for a dreamy reception where guests danced under the stars, all while staying warm. Sarah and Roberto really did get the best of both worlds by choosing Celebration's clear top tent for their big day, and it was a hit with the guests!

Sarah's bridesmaids looked beautiful in unique black dresses. We jumped at the idea of black accents for the couple's design. It isn't done often, but when done right, it screams both classy and fun. The details below (check out those gorgeous tapered candles!) show why bride's shouldn't shy away from the color black. Paired with lots of dark greenery, white flowers, and gold, the design couldn't have been more alluring.
Flower arrangements lined the ceremony's aisle and gave the natural greenery a pop of color. These 60-inch arrangements paired well with the beautiful arbor and really set this ceremony apart. We love seeing flowers from all angles, and these arrangements looked as if the flowers were growing right out of the ground, giving Sarah and Roberto's wedding a unique touch.
Mina, the couple's dog, stole the show! All eyes were on her as she walked down the aisle dressed in a garland of greenery and flowers, courtesy of JRE's floral team. Our website says that "every package is individually tailored to fit your needs." As seen in Mina's stylish collar, we mean it! If you look closely, you'll see that even her leash has some finishing touches.
Each place setting contained a hand-tied assortment of greenery. Complete with leather ribbon, a personalized name card, modern gold flatware, and a dinner menu, each guest felt honored. Lastly, the long farm tables were perfected with floral arrangements stretched across the table and dripping candles that lit up the tent all night long.
The arbor from the ceremony was beautifully repurposed to frame the couple at the reception. It gave the tent added floral, height to the design, and a stunning backdrop for photos. Reusing floral from the ceremony helps your budget and highlights the beautiful pieces that were featured earlier that day!
