As a busy med student, September bride Brittany knew she needed help planning her wedding day. After securing her venue, she and her fiancé Jon reached out to us and booked our popular partial planning package.

After setting their budget, we assembled a vendor team that checked off all of her boxes (and then some)! From catering, photo, beauty to design we handled every last detail for her.

Brittany wanted a neutral palette with pops of dark green. It was important to the couple that the wedding day details weren't "too country" as the historic barn venue already had plenty of rustic charm. Lead planner Melanie got to work and created a perfect design that suited the couple's esthetic and budget.

To add a level of classic-elegance we brought in chiavari chairs for the reception. We loved how they made the dinner feel a little more formal and romantic. One of our biggest recommendations to clients is to upgrade their chairs. Why? When you multiply a large item like that 100-200 times in any space it has what we call "design dominance" and makes a statement. Same rule applies to an abundance of candles or any element you repeat a significant number of times. Gold flatware and gold rimmed china were another fun and unexpected design detail at the place settings. Fluffy white and blush flowers made for perfect, soft centerpieces, created exclusively by the JRE team.

We of course needed some nods to the barn setting so we added rattan chargers and a piece of fresh rosemary from the bride's personal garden to each place setting. We are so proud of the clients we work for whether we're planning an intimate affair for 50 or a huge gala for 500. If we have happy clients, we're doing something right.
