{Jenn Robirds Events} Jillian + Jonathan
The wedding of our sweet Nashville clients, Jillian and Jonathan, was held at a stunning private estate in the hills of Newcastle, California. Where the bride grew up, the gorgeous residence was the perfect canvas for us to design a dreamy boho-chic September wedding.
During the ceremony, guests were seated on vintage pews the bride's mother found (total score), while the couple was perched on the most incredible cliff overlooking the valley below. Lots of pampas grass added whimsy to the backdrop and we loved the bridesmaids in all different styles of dresses in the muted blush colors. The maid of honors were distinguished in their sequin Badgley Mischka gowns and the men looked dapper in classic black tuxes with bow-ties.
For the reception, we staged a 20' teepee as the photobooth and flanked it with a mix of long connected kings tables and traditional rounds contrasted with mis-matched cross-back and tufted Felicity chairs from Celebrations Party Rentals. The Beatrice Garden and Oatmeal Velvet linens from La Tavola added texture and interest and we made sure to layer these with plenty of greenery and classic white flowers created and assembled by the bride's mother. Gold accents and perfectly tied napkins with our signature piece of greenery at each place setting elevated the look and added the little bit of glamour the bride wanted.
One of our stylists favorite details that evening was the all-white dance floor. It made the first dance photos crisp, airy and clean. Lastly, you might notice the bride in different dresses - this is because she had 3! She wore her mother's heirloom gown for the ceremony and had another dress for the reception and a final one for dancing. (Why not, right?)
