Erin and Karl had their wedding at a secluded lawn at Gold Hill Gardens, a private-home turned wedding-venue. Gold Hill Gardens doesn't need much in terms of decor as the lush lawns, creek, mature oak trees and pasture areas lend themselves to a romantic backdrop for any style wedding. Our team placed the black chivari chairs in an arched seating orientation, which made the wedding of only 70 guests seem even more intimate.

We had an amazing time creating the design concept for this couple. Classic black and ivory place settings at the reception tables were accented with a touch of lavender to harmonize with the organic beauty of the venue. Shades of pink, purple, white and bright green flowers added the perfect punch of summer color to the design of Erin and Karl's day. Erin asked that we incorporate asiatic lilies into the table arrangements as that was the flower on the table the night Karl proposed to her. Not a flower seen often in wedding arrangements, we thought the vibrant lilies were a lovely addition to the alfresco table decor. Mini succulents were at each guests place setting and also doubled as their place card. For food, guests were treated to delectable local fare from the Farm to Table team.

During cocktail hour, guests noshed on caprese skewers, crostini with honeyed ricotta, nectarines, blackberries and mint and delicious shredded chicken stuffed mini corn muffins while they played lawn games and had their picture drawn in the outdoor gazebo by a caricature artist. The couple loved the chicken and steak entree options they selected from Farm to Table catering during their tasting appointment so much that they wanted guests to have each during their reception. They decided on a plated duo which guests loved! Erin was one of the most relaxed brides we have worked with and she moved through her day with the calmness and clarity every bride deserves - she trusted us with every detail and it certainly paid off!
